Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Belira handles information when you use our iOS application and related services at refined.beliralab.one. Belira is designed to help users archive beauty looks, plan hairstyle routines, monitor product usage, buy Belira products, and request AI-assisted style ideas only when the user chooses to do so.
1. Data Collection
Information received through Belira falls into several categories. Account details may include your email address, display name, login credentials, and profile settings. Content you add—such as saved looks, routine notes, timing logs, and product tracking entries—is stored so core app features can function.
The app may also gather technical details like device model, operating system version, app version, crash reports, and interaction events used for performance diagnostics and reliability.
Certain features request permission-based access. For example:
- Photos/Camera: to upload or capture hairstyle and beauty reference images you choose to save.
- Notifications: to deliver optional reminders for styling routines, schedules, or product timing.
- Location (if enabled): may be used for region-relevant shopping, shipping, or localized app experience.
- Contacts: not accessed unless a specific optional feature requests it and you grant access.
Face data clarification: Belira does not collect biometric face data, facial geometry, facial landmarks, face templates, or face recognition identifiers. If an image selected by the user contains a face, Belira treats that image as user content chosen for a styling-related feature, not as biometric identification data.
Belira may include third-party software development kits (SDKs) for analytics, payment processing, app stability monitoring, and service delivery. These tools may process limited technical identifiers and usage metrics.
2. Data Usage
Data is utilized to operate your account, sync your archive across devices, personalize routine tracking, and provide features such as AI-assisted styling inspiration where your explicit action initiates that request.
Information may also support:
- Order processing and customer support for Belira product purchases
- Security checks, fraud prevention, and abuse detection
- Product improvements, testing, and feature planning
- Optional service communications, including updates and account notices
Belira does not sell personal information. Where data is shared, it is limited to operational purposes such as infrastructure hosting, payment workflows, analytics, and support tooling, under contractual restrictions.
3. Data Storage & Security
User information is stored on secured infrastructure operated by Belira and trusted service providers. Depending on system architecture, storage may occur in multiple regions to maintain uptime and recovery capability.
Protective controls include encrypted network transport, access controls, authentication safeguards, and internal permission limits for staff access. No system can promise absolute security, but Belira applies commercially reasonable safeguards to reduce risk.
Retention periods depend on account status, legal obligations, dispute handling, and operational necessity. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or de-identified according to internal retention rules.
Retention of face-containing images: If a user saves a selected photo or an AI-generated result inside Belira, that image is stored locally on the user's device until the user deletes the related content or removes the app. Belira does not retain biometric face data on Belira-controlled servers.
4. Third-Party Services
Belira relies on external providers for selected functions such as cloud hosting, checkout and payment handling, analytics, crash diagnostics, communications delivery, and AI-related processing requested by users.
Data sent to SiliconFlow: When a user chooses an AI feature, Belira may send limited user-selected information to SiliconFlow at api.siliconflow.cn. The specific data that may be sent includes:
- Typed prompts or goals entered by the user to request styling briefs, image analysis, image generation, or image editing.
- Selected scene labels such as Work, Date Night, or Gym when they are part of the requested AI result.
- The latest saved look title and note summary, but only if the user explicitly enables that source before sending the request.
- Active product names, but only if the user explicitly enables that source before sending the request.
- The specific photo chosen by the user for image analysis or image editing. Belira does not send other photos from the user's library unless the user selects them for that request.
Face data and SiliconFlow: If the user-selected photo contains a face, Belira may transmit that photo to SiliconFlow only to complete the exact AI action requested by the user, such as hairstyle analysis or image editing. Belira does not use those images for face recognition, identity verification, advertising, profiling, or creation of biometric templates.
Purpose of sending to SiliconFlow: This information is sent to SiliconFlow only for the purpose of generating the exact AI result requested by the user, such as a styling brief, hairstyle analysis, inspiration image, or edited image. Belira presents an in-app explanation before entering AI Studio and requires an additional user confirmation before the first approved AI request is sent.
How Belira protects data sent to SiliconFlow: Belira transmits requests to SiliconFlow over encrypted network connections, limits the payload to only the fields and images required for the selected AI action, stores cached AI text locally on device unless the user clears it, and allows the user to revoke saved AI permission from within the app settings. Belira does not silently send the user's full beauty archive to SiliconFlow.
No biometric processing by Belira: Belira does not use TrueDepth APIs, Face ID, AR face tracking, or any comparable technology to extract or store biometric face identifiers from user photos.
Other service providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices while performing services on Belira’s behalf. We recommend reviewing third-party privacy materials where relevant, especially for payment and authentication flows.
5. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to personal data, ask for correction of inaccurate information, request deletion, limit certain processing activities, or object to specific uses.
Where applicable under CCPA-style frameworks, users may request details about categories of information handled and can direct us not to process data for certain optional purposes. Belira does not sell personal information.
To exercise your rights, contact support@belira.com with enough detail for verification. We may need to confirm identity before completing requests. Authorized agents may submit requests where legally permitted.
6. Children's Privacy
Belira is intended for adults and is not designed for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly gather personal information from minors.
If we learn that information from a person under 18 has been submitted, we will take steps to remove that information promptly. Parents or guardians who believe a minor provided data may contact us for review and deletion support.
7. Policy Updates
This policy may be revised from time to time to reflect legal requirements, product changes, or operational updates. The latest version will be posted within the app or on refined.beliralab.one with an updated effective date.
For material updates, Belira may provide additional notice, such as in-app messaging or account-related communication.
